Places Not Allowed by Airplanes
Airplanes are one of the public transportation modes that are used by the public, especially for cross-country purposes. By using airplanes, people get many advantages, ranging from travel time to unimpeded traffic.
However, there are some areas where the aircraft is prohibited from taking off so pilots must fly to avoid them.
For those of you who have been to the Holy Land, have you ever seen a plane pass through the Kaaba area or around the city of Mecca? It turns out that planes are not allowed to fly in the Kaaba area. This is a regulation of the government of Saudi Arabia.
There is another quite interesting reason for the no-fly in the Kaaba. There is a theory that there was a magnetic anomaly over the Kaaba that could disrupt the aircraft's navigation system. In addition, the gravitational field above the Kaaba is also said to be strong enough so that planes cannot fly too high and endanger the worshipers.
The North Pole
The North Pole has a geomagnetic field. If you travel to this "polar bear house" don't bring a compass because it won't work there. The same applies to aircraft navigation systems.
The planes flying in this area will have their navigation system disturbed because the magnetic field is very strong and changes frequently. The pilots will be confused when they want to land the plane because they will find it difficult to find the correct runway.
The Himalayas have several high mountain peaks, one of which is Mount Everest with a height of 8,848 meters. Planes may fly above that altitude, but pilots prefer to avoid the "Roof of the World" area.
The reason for this is that if the plane experiences an emergency, the pilot must lower the altitude to 3,000 meters to overcome the oxygen supply problem. This is very dangerous because the point is close to the average altitude of the Himalayas. The plane has to meander around the mountains and of course, this is very risky.
Antarctica is a continent located in the South Pole region. This continent has several mountains covered by snow and also strong winds. This condition can reduce the pilot's visibility which is certainly very dangerous.
Another reason is that in the event of an emergency landing, the Antarctic terrain is very difficult for pilots to land. Passengers also find it difficult to deal with conditions in Antarctica while waiting for help to arrive.
Pantex Nuclear Plant, Texas
Pantex Plant is a nuclear plant in Amarillo, Texas, which is useful for maintaining and securing all nuclear material belonging to the United States. The US government prohibits aircraft from flying in this area because it does not want bad things to happen such as a very deadly nuclear explosion.
Have you ever dreamed of going and spending time at Disney World or Disneyland? The entertainment company that was built by Walt Disney is indeed very broad to penetrate into theme parks. However, don't expect you to be able to see the recreation area from the plane because there is a ban on flying in that area.
In 2003, the Disney Corporation imposed a no-fly on both areas for safety concerns. This is intended to maintain the safety of visitors if at any time there is a plane that has problems and needs an emergency landing in the Disney area.
Area 51, Nevada
Not long ago heard a movement that aims to invade Area 51 in Nevada, United States. This area is believed to hold some important secrets that should not be divulged to the public such as aliens, UFOs, and the unexplained.
This mysterious place in the expanse of the Nevada Desert is not exactly known for its exact point. The government imposed a flight ban on Area 51 for public and military aircraft. However, it is not clear why it was enforced. Is it a conspiracy?
NASA Space Center, USA
Who doesn't know NASA? NASA is the United States aviation and space agency. Aircraft are prohibited from crossing this area as far as 5000 feet above it. If there are planes that pass above NASA's Space Center, it will interfere with the launch of NASA's rockets into space.
This most mysterious place must be familiar to you, right? The number of planes that suddenly disappeared in the area made the pilots reluctant to pass through the place. It's cool bro
Taj Mahal, India
Taj Mahal, India. This special monument was built at the wish of the Mughal Emperor Shan Jahan and this monument was built using white marble. The reason is simple, the government does not want the white marble of the Taj Mahal to be polluted by aircraft pollution. These regulations starting from 2006.
