Before exercising, it is recommended to eat light snacks just to give you some energy. Because an empty stomach needs energy so you need to eat in order to add sugar to the blood.
Not all foods are well consumed prior to physical exercise. Incorporating the wrong intake can have adverse effects such as abdominal cramps, bloating, or make fatigue quickly. These foods need to be avoided because the motion while exercising affects the digestion process.
Some foods that are not recommended for consumption before exercise include the following food.
Although healthy, but should be avoided when you will exercise. All milk-based products such as cheese and yogurt should be avoided. You can potentially experience intestinal cramps while taking them before you exercise.
2. Vegetables and nuts
Green vegetables can give fiber to the body. However, it is not good if consumed before exercise because it causes flatulence and indigestion. This is due to the sulfur content in it.
3. Carbonated Drinks
Drinks containing sodas are not recommended for consumption before exercise because it can cause flatulence. In addition, packaged fruit juice should also be avoided before exercising because of the high content of fructose in it is not easily digested.
Desserts containing many calories are also difficult to convert into energy. Sugar in it is usually loaded with carbohydrates so it can disrupt blood sugar levels in the body. Dessert can make blood sugar jump and drop suddenly. Active body motion during exercise can cause dizziness and fatigue.
Fries contain saturated fat should be avoided. Especially when exercising, greasy foods such as french fries, and other fried food are difficult to digest. This can cause stomach wrinkles and cramps while exercising.
