How To Quickly Overcome Alcohol Hangover

Feeling a hangover after the party? Do not worry, guys. Just follow the way below to overcome the bad effects after a quick alcohol hangover. Be sure to do it before the party, when the party starts, and when the party is over, ok!

Before Party:

  • Drink one shot aloe vera a.k.a aloe vera. This one green plant is not only good for hair health, but also can protect the digestive tract from alcohol. However, do not drink too much because aloe vera can make a stomach want to defecate.

  • Eat burgers. Sound unhealthy indeed. However, actually eating foods containing carbohydrates, proteins, and fats such as burgers can prevent bloating when hangover.

  • Get enough sleep. Drinking alcohol after staying up late? Do not expect you to survive the hangover. Adequate sleep is necessary because it can improve the body's immune system. If the body's immune system is in top shape, a hangover would be more difficult to "attack" you.

    Party Time:

  • Avoid champagne. Carbonated alcohol is faster absorbed by the body, automatically making you drunk faster.

  • Choose clear alcohol. For example vodka and gin. Clear alcohol tends not to make you hangover the next day. While colored alcohols, such as wine and whiskey contain congerers that cause hangover.

  • Do not forget to drink water. Dehydration can trigger a hangover. So, do not forget to drink water on the sidelines of enjoying alcohol.

    After the party:

  • Drink a glass of coconut water before bed. Add some salt to prevent dehydration. You can also drink sports drinks that have high sugar content so as not to feel weak in the morning after the party.

  • Breakfast with eggs. Eggs can reduce the effects of toxins present in alcohol. Ideally, cook eggs by boiling or can also make it a scrambled egg.

  • Avoid herbal teas. Researchers from Sun Yat-Sen University in Guangzhou, China found that herbal tea makes your body process alcohol more slowly, so the hangover lasts longer. Yikes!
